Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching Bandini today. You’re an actor par excellence….. You’re interaction with Baa were awesome. The emotions on your face when Baa asked “What about you…” were too good…. Man you should be proud of your self.
I’m glad you’re movie career didn’t click…. the reason being my calculation WE would get to see 10 movies per year that’s 30 hours ie 90 -20 mins slots ie we get to see you for 90 days of 365. Now you being a TV star , assuming you do only 1 serial a year we get to see you for 261 days (assuming the serial runs for 5days/week). Now 261 is way way better than 90.
Also TV industry has a larger & tougher audience. That’s why lots of Film stars have there own TV shows…..

love watching your show and am a huge fan of DM. Could I please request that more DM-Santo scenes are picturised and shown? Although the other storylines are interesting enough,nothing beats a DM-Santo scene. Continuous episodes without them are slightly pulling the interest away from fans like me wishing to see more of DM and Santo together. I wish their love story would progress, albeit slowly, as long as it does.

I am new but a big fan of yours i am just bowled over by DM. I live in London moved here for studies and later got caught up in career so there was no time for any tv or soaps. When i left India soaps boom had not yet started so never saw ur work in KZK or KSBKBT. Now i manage to watch little bit more TV and Bandini is where i frist met the Big B of Television… i had watched ur first movie of which i own a DVD too and i absolutely loved you in it. You are amazing as DM. I am a gujarati and so love ur dialect and can connect to it.. i have heard and seen people wear, walk and talk like you do in the show, i mean not as good as you, aapki to baat hee kuch aur hai..but i can relate to it.
Bandini fills me up with happiness of being connected to my roots again. It’s pure and real, Thank you so much for it. One comment on the show i agree with Audrey in her last post about ur reaction to the divorce papers and not the whole bit as according to me your softening down with santo was not quick moreover story’s progress was justifying your calming down.
I have had my friends/family and colleagues hooked up to the show as well… Ur charm, style and acting carries the show off so well… you are simply amazing as Dharamraj. This is the first time I recommended a show to my mother… i am sure she will love it. God Bless!!

Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi, this character really suits you, you do hahve similar personalities, being strong, straight forward, powerful at the same time soft, kind… There’s no other actor who perform this character as better as you…..it seems as though DM was ment for you to potray.
But there is one thing that i always dislike is the transition that a character has to go through……….it needs to be gradual not quick…being the angry man from the beginning of the show…….then suddenly amid turning into a softhearted maalik……..
you can potray softeness in a different manner too, same time being the strict maalik of Dharampur……..
this is in reference to 7th August epi~ :- I wished if you express your anger the moment you saw the divorce papers………but you did not……..you were not shocked as to why did she sign on the papers………..whereas I was hoping that you could burst in anger even after you got to know the truth on Santo………..as to how dare she sign the papers………even though DM doesn’t accept his relation with Santo but divorce is something one needs to think why, what and how could she do this….even after spending 7 months under the same roof……….if you don’t react in anger to a situation like a divorce………I really don’t understand that.

Yes, liked the ‘tayble mayners’ scene! The way DM eats reminds us of his humble origins, and lack of pretensions. He eats the way he has always eaten despite being so rich! Nicely done..
Another episode that comes to mind is the one with Maulik, when he is caught drinking! The way your eyes change as he questions you.. they almost mellow down when he talks of how even a pet gets more attention from the master… and then of course he blows it all up with his anti-Santo comments and your eyes are back to their former fury! Nice…

We always get to see emotional scenes between a mother and a child. Touching scenes between a father and child are rare and DM in Kadambari’s bedaai scene yesterday left me speechless and numb with hurt, it was so real. The big lump in my throat took ages to go away and when it finally did, I called my father up (very early in the morning his time) and told him that I wanted to see him as soon as possible…
I loved you in that scene and I shall always remember it.
